Well, we just finished our read aloud of Wonder by RJ Palacio.  You could hear a pin drop in our class everyday that I, Mrs. Degeer, read the book to the students.  Today, when I finished the last line of the book, students erupted in applause.  Please watch the trailer for the book below and please scroll down even farther to see what the students said about this wonderful book; Wonder!

  6. Why, thank you! The book was filled with such descriptive language and raw emotion that I really got into the characters when I was reading.

  13. The book is very interesting, Wonder is one of my favourite books that I have ever read! Even thought the book is sad at times, it's what happens all around the world, and people live like that. My favourite part of the book is when it changes to different perspectives.

  17. This book was really good! I like how it has diff perspectives and it was just interesting to read and to enjoy. I recommend this book to children over 8 years old because of some of the language and how realistic it is on how society treats people with cranial facial disorder. (I don't think I spelt that right...)
